As June comes to an end, we are taking a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate what truly matters: the lives touched, the skills built, and the futures transformed.
At Edufun Technik STEM Hub, we believe that STEM education is more than just teaching coding, robotics, or digital marketing. It is about creating opportunities, building confidence, and preparing young people, especially girls and underserved communities, to succeed in a digital world.
This month, like every other, reminded us exactly why we do what we do. The wins may not always make headlines, but they are real, meaningful, and life-changing.
Our Students Are Gaining Real Skills for the Future
Walking into our classrooms this June, there was something powerful in the air: curiosity, laughter, and the sound of problem-solving.

From young students learning computer appreciation, understanding how a simple mouse click leads to a world of possibilities, to teenagers building their first websites in our web development classes, the transformation is clear. These students are not just learning how to use technology; they are understanding how to create with it.
In our robotics classes, students watched their coded robots come alive: solving tasks, avoiding obstacles, and sparking a realization that they can design solutions, not just consume them.
Our digital marketing students practiced how to build brands, design content, and manage campaigns. Watching them talk confidently about SEO, social media strategies, and online storytelling feels like watching future entrepreneurs in the making.
This is more than just learning: it is empowerment.
Corps Members and Interns Leaving with Skills and Confidence
As June wrapped up, so did the journey for some of our interns and NYSC corps members. But what they leave with is far beyond a certificate or completion letter.

These young professionals arrived with curiosity and are leaving with hands-on skills in content creation, communications, teaching, program management, data handling, and digital tools. More importantly, they are leaving with confidence: the kind that says, “I am ready for the future.”
We watched as interns led classes, facilitated workshops, managed events, and even mentored younger students. Some started unsure, nervous, and questioning themselves. Today, they are confident communicators, team leaders, and changemakers.
And that…is exactly why we do what we do.
World Environment Day: Turning Plastic Into Purpose
A standout highlight this month was our World Environment Day Celebration, where we hosted an impactful event with secondary school students in Onitsha.
The theme was simple yet powerful: “Plastic to Purpose.”
We watched as these brilliant young minds came together to creatively transform waste plastics into purposeful items: bags, flower vases, a timer, art pieces, and household tools. Some of their ideas were so innovative that even we were left speechless.

It was more than just an art project; it was about helping students understand the connection between technology, innovation, and sustainability. They realized that STEM is not just about computers or robots; it is about solving real-world problems, including caring for the environment.
This event perfectly embodied our mission: using STEM not only to educate but to inspire change.
STEM Is Changing Lives—This Is the Proof
Every single day, we are reminded that access to STEM education is not a luxury—it is a necessity.
- When a student learns how to create a digital campaign for a small business, that is empowerment.
- When an intern discovers they are capable of teaching and inspiring others, that is growth.
- When a robotics class stirs the idea that they can build, not just consume, technology, that is transformation.
- When a student codes his or her first website, that is a win.
These are not small things. These are seeds of future engineers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders.
This Is Why We Exist
At Edufun Technik STEM Hub, we exist to make sure no one is left behind in the digital age.
We exist to ensure that girls, young people, and underserved communities in Nigeria have the tools, skills, and confidence to succeed, not just in the classroom but in the real world.
The smiles we see when a student figures out how to debug code, the pride when a corps member publishes a digital project, and the joy when interns say, “I never knew I could do this”—this is the fuel that drives us.
Looking Ahead—The Journey Continues
June may be ending, but the work continues. In July and beyond, we are preparing for:
- New intakes in coding, robotics, and digital marketing.
- Ongoing digital skills training for students, including those who just finished Junior WAEC.
- Preparing for our 2025 Summer STEM Camp in August, designed to offer hands-on learning, innovation, fun, and discovery.
- More partnerships to expand digital skills training in schools.
- Continued mentorship for young girls to break barriers in STEM.
- Workshops for parents and teachers on supporting digital learning.
The future is bright, and we are building it one learner, one skill, and one success story at a time.
A Call to Our Community
To parents: Keep believing in your children’s potential. Encourage them to explore, build, and create.
To educators: Keep creating spaces where curiosity thrives.
To our interns and corps members: We are proud of you. The skills you carry now are your tools for a successful future.
To everyone reading: You are part of this journey. Share our story, support a student, mentor, or even volunteer. Together, we can build a generation that does not just use technology but shapes it.
Final Word: Thank You, Stay Connected, Stay Inspired
Thank you to every student, parent, intern, corps member, partner, and supporter who walked this journey with us this month. These wins belong to all of us.
At Edufun Technik STEM Hub, we are not just teaching skills. We are building futures. And as long as there are students eager to learn, we will be right here, teaching, guiding, and cheering them on.
And guess what? The best is yet to come.
Stay tuned. Follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Let us continue building a future where young people are not just users of technology: they are creators, innovators, and leaders.
