Our Team

Team Edufun STEM & Robotics center is more than a collection of permanent & volunteer hands. We are a dedicated, passionate team, and we blend traditional values of education, teaching & learning with progressive design-thinking, problem solving and analytical reasoning. Our combined Nigerian team and international support advisors is 88 percent female, and nearly 30 percent are graduates of Edufun’s flagship and Legacy Program, Bridging the STEM-Gender Gap also tagged, Mind the Gap Project. This vision and race combined with gender mirroring ensures critical empathy and cultural relevance at every juncture, key to Girl Pioneers’ success in STEM related careers and in preparation for the future of work.

Uchenna Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu - Founder/COO

She holds a degree in Psychology and Innovative Business/Entrepreneurship Certificate from Kellogg School of Management Northwestern University Illinois USA and over 4-years’ experience in STEM Curriculum Development and Implementation of Gender-Enhancing STEM Education for Children/youths in a resource-limited/underprivileged communities in Nigeria. She mentored young girls that won a global gold award in Silicon Valley, USA

Bright Chimezie Irem - Program Manager

Google certified Project Manager, Project Management Professional (PMP), World Bank Group Youth Innovate for Impact Alumnus & a Mandela Washington Fellow. In charge of programs and project designs, Design-Thinking/Problem-Solving leader with Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).

Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata - Communications/Marketing

Nigerian journalist, technology entrepreneur, business coach, public speaker and television presenter at Channels TV where he hosts the show Tech Trends. He is also a columnist for The Punch called ICT clinic.
