Edufun Technik STEM Hub Hosts Free Coding Workshop for Teachers

Onitsha, Anambra State – Edufun Technik STEM Hub is organising a free one-day workshop titled “Teach Coding with Scratch” aimed at empowering primary and secondary school teachers to introduce coding skills to their students. The event is scheduled for May 25, 2024, at 9:30 am prompt at No. 6 Ridge Road GRA, Onitsha, Anambra State.

 

The workshop is sponsored by the Scratch Foundation and will feature a panel discussion highlighting the importance of coding in children’s development. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with fellow educators and experts in the field.

 

Coding is an essential skill for the 21st century, and it’s crucial that we equip our teachers with the tools to nurture this skill in their students from an early age. This workshop is designed to provide teachers with hands-on training in using Scratch, a user-friendly programming language designed specifically for kids.

 

The event promises to be an engaging and informative experience for educators, allowing them to explore new teaching methodologies and learn how to integrate coding into their curriculum effectively.
