Additionally, our efforts in STEM-focused educational graphics and content creation have enhanced learning experiences, making digital education engaging and accessible for a wider audience.
Celebrating Social Impact: Inspiring Girls at the Tech Equity Hub
Beyond classroom learning, we take pride in making meaningful connections through social impact projects. On International Women’s Day, we visited the Tech Equity Hub in Onono, a town across the River Niger, to celebrate with the students of Great Sailor School. The visit was more than just a celebration, it was a chance to see firsthand how the students have learned and grown.
We shared inspiring stories of women who defied barriers to make their voices heard in STEM and leadership. Our Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mrs. Uchenna Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu also shared her personal journey, her resilience during school, taking night trips to Lagos to buy clothes at cheaper rates, bringing them back, washing, ironing, and selling them to support her education. Today, she is pursuing her master’s degree at Harvard University while leading Edufun Technik STEM Foundation. Her story reminded the students that determination and hard work can open doors to incredible opportunities.
The impact of this visit was profound. The girls saw possibilities beyond their immediate environment, reinforcing the belief that they, too, can break barriers and achieve greatness. This event was a reminder that education is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about mentorship, encouragement, and building a community that uplifts others.
