The Importance of Mentorship For School Kids

\"\" \"\" \"\"Recent study shows that negligence by both teachers and parents is the single most debilitating factor undermining children\’s ability to learn in school and informally.
Most times School children are faced with myriads of challenges such as poor memory, absentmindedness, poor communication skills, lack of self-consciousness, and more. Due to negligence by both their teachers and parents, they have no will nor self confidence to speak up about these challenges.
However, Mentorship is an effective tool for solving such social challenges. It bridges the gap between students and their teachers, and enhance their learning and teaching capabilities, respectively.
Below are pictures showing Mrs Uchenna Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu, the founder and CEO of Edufun Technik mentoring female students of various secondary schools in Onitsha, Anambra State on Career Decision, Entrepreneurship, STEM Education, and Empowering Women through Tech, prior to the 2018 Global Technovation Girls Challenge.
