Closing Africa’s Gender-based Gap In STEM

Encouraging Africa’s young women to venture into STEM fields, and equipping them with STEM Education is a bold step towards social and economic development, not only for themselves but also for their various communities and the continent of Africa as a whole.

In view of this need, many African women have taken the lead in advocating STEM Education in Africa, and mentoring young girls in STEM fields, in order to help them acquire the skills of the future. Among them is Mrs Uchenna Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu, the founder and CEO of Edufun Technik, a Nigerian-based STEM Education organization.
